Knowing is sometimes only the beginning.

Have you ever had one of those moments when something suddenly becomes clear?

You see the pattern.

You recognize what you've been needing.

You finally admit something you've known for a long time.

And then Monday comes.

Life gets busy. Old habits are familiar. Other people's needs get loud again.

A week later, the thing that felt so clear can already feel far away.

I've been there too.

This is one of the reasons I believe remembering is a practice.

It's one thing to recognize what is true for us.

It's another to begin living in relationship with what we've remembered.

That's where our deeper work together begins.

We create space to listen to what is present, understand what may be underneath it, explore the invitation that's emerging, and find ways to bring that knowing into your actual life.

Your choices.

Your relationships.

Your boundaries.

Your work.

The way you care for yourself.

The way you trust yourself.

We don't have to reinvent your life.

We begin with one remembering.

And then we listen for what it is asking of you.

The Rhythm Beneath Our Work.

The DANCE™ Methodology

A rhythm for living what you remember.

The Wheel of Remembering helps us notice what may be asking for our attention.

DANCE™ helps us explore what happens next.

It's the methodology woven through my private work and gives us a gentle rhythm for moving from recognition into lived experience.

DANCE isn't a set of steps you have to complete in the right order. Depending on what is present, we may spend more time in one place than another. And just like the Wheel, we may return to something we've explored before.

Each return gives us an opportunity to listen again.

Discover

Listen for what is already there.

We begin with curiosity.

What's present for you now? What feels true? What have you been questioning, longing for, or perhaps already sensing beneath the noise of expectations and everyday life?

Together, we create enough space to notice.

Discover isn't about finding a new version of you.

It's about becoming reacquainted with the woman who is already here.

Assimilate

Make room for the whole story.

Sometimes what we discover is easy to welcome.

Sometimes it isn't.

Assimilate gives us space to be with the experiences, emotions, patterns, and parts of ourselves we may have struggled to understand or accept.

We don't have to label every difficult feeling as something to overcome.

Instead, we can become curious about what it has carried, what it has taught us, and what relationship we want to have with it now.

Nothing has to be pushed away for you to belong to yourself.

Nurture & Nourish

Notice what you need from yourself now.

Many of us become very practiced at noticing what everyone else needs.

Our own needs can become quieter.

Here, we begin listening to them again.

That might mean rest. A boundary. More support. Movement. Pleasure. Creativity. Time alone. Connection. Or simply permission to stop demanding so much of yourself.

Nurture & Nourish is about creating a relationship with yourself that can hold what you're remembering.

Calibrate

Bring what you know into relationship with how you live.

There are moments when something inside us shifts and we realize that an old way of living no longer quite fits.

Calibrate is where we pause and notice the relationship between what we know inwardly and the life we're actually living.

What still feels true?

What feels out of balance?

What might need adjusting?

We aren't trying to create perfect alignment.

Sometimes one small, honest adjustment is enough to bring us closer to ourselves.

Express

Give your remembering somewhere to live.

There comes a point when what we know asks to become part of how we live.

Expression might appear in the words we finally say.

A boundary we honor.

Something we create.

A choice we make differently.

More laughter. More honesty. More rest. More pleasure. More of whatever feels genuinely alive for us.

This is where remembering becomes embodied.

Not as a final destination, but as something we practice in our relationships, our work, our creativity, our choices, and our ordinary days.

And eventually, the Wheel turns again.

Something new asks for our attention.

We listen.

We remember.

And the DANCE begins again.

Why This Work Matters

It's easy to lose touch with ourselves.

We spend years responding to what life asks of us. Caring for people we love. Meeting responsibilities. Moving through change and loss. Making decisions. Adapting.

And sometimes, without even realizing it, we become very good at hearing everyone else's needs while our own voice grows quieter.

That doesn't mean we've lost ourselves.

Sometimes we simply need a way back into relationship with what has always been there.

Our intuition.

Our needs.

Our bodies.

Our boundaries.

Our desires.

Our own sense of what is true.

This is the heart of the work we do together.

We create space for you to hear yourself again, and then explore what it might look like to live in deeper relationship with what you hear.

Because remembering isn't only something we understand.

Eventually, it asks to become part of how we live.

And that is where the DANCE™ continues.

Perhaps we begin with a conversation.

You don't need to know whether coaching is right for you before we talk.

You may simply know that something in your life is asking for your attention.

Maybe you're standing at a crossroads.

Maybe you're moving through a season of change.

Maybe you know what you want but are having a hard time trusting yourself enough to follow it.

Or perhaps you can't quite name what's happening yet.

That's okay too.

You're invited to a complimentary Remembering Conversation.

We'll spend some time talking about what's present for you, what you've been trying to figure out, and what you sense may be asking to be remembered.

You can ask questions about working with me and get a feel for what it might be like to journey together.

And together, we'll notice whether private coaching feels like the right kind of support for this season.

There is nothing you need to prepare.

Come as you are.

Bring what's real.

We'll begin there.

To request your Remembering Session, EMAIL ME or use the "Contact Elaine" form on this site and we'll get you on the calendar!

You don't have to know where this leads.

Sometimes the next step isn't a plan.

It's simply recognizing that you don't want to keep having the same conversation with yourself alone.

If something you've read here feels familiar, notice that.

You don't have to turn it into a decision right away.

Perhaps sit with one question:

What is asking to be remembered today?

And if the answer feels like it would be helpful to have someone walk beside you for a while, I'd be glad to meet you there.
