A Portal Between Years: Listening to the Feminine Way Forward

There are moments in time that don’t ask us to move faster. They ask us to pause. This week is one of those moments.

As we say goodbye to 2025 and prepare to step into 2026 — a 1 Universal Year in Numerology, the beginning of a brand-new cycle — the collective energy can feel loud, urgent, and demanding. Everywhere you look, there’s pressure to wrap things up, set intentions, decide who you’re becoming next.

And yet… something softer is whispering beneath the noise.

In a recent oracle card reading, a clear message came through that was not just for me, but for the collective, and especially for the women who gather inside my Pleasure & Possibilities Membership Club on Facebook.

The message wasn’t about hustling into the new year.
It was about crossing a portal with presence.

When endings are honored, beginnings arrive with clarity instead of chaos.

Assimilate: Becoming Unhookable

One of the strongest themes in this reading was the invitation to become unhookable.

Unhookable from urgency.
Unhookable from comparison.
Unhookable from the pressure to perform a “perfect” transition into a new year.

Not everything that asks for your attention is yours to carry.

Right now, discernment is medicine.
You get to choose what enters your nervous system and what doesn’t.

Nurture: Honoring Sacred Separation

There is deep wisdom in separation.

This isn’t isolation. It’s intentional withdrawal. A turning inward. A cocooning that allows your system to rest and recalibrate.

Nature does this effortlessly.
So do our bodies when we let them.

This is a season for fewer inputs and deeper listening. For tending to what feels tender. For allowing yourself to be held by stillness rather than driven by demand.

Calibrate: Returning to the Chamber of Innocence

At the center of this portal is the inner child.

Not the wounded child who needs fixing but the innocent one who remembers awe, wonder, magic, and presence.

She doesn’t need a five-year plan.
She knows how to sense what’s true.

Calibrating to this frequency softens the mind and re-sensitizes the body to pleasure, curiosity, and possibility. This is where intuition becomes clear again.

Express: The Feminine Way Forward

The expression that wants to move through right now is feminine.

Not in appearance but in approach.

The feminine moves through:

  • Relaxation instead of force

  • Restoration instead of productivity

  • Receiving instead of chasing

  • Listening instead of deciding too soon

This is not passive.

Before you plan.

Create a Chamber of Innocence for yourself.

Set aside 15–20 minutes sometime this week.
Light a candle. Wrap yourself in warmth. Leave your phone in another room.

Place one hand on your heart and one on your lower belly.
Take three slow, deliberate breaths.

Then ask without needing an answer right away:

  • What is ready to be released from 2025?

  • What wants to be honored before it ends?

  • What does my inner child want more of in this next cycle?

Do not analyze.
Do not strategize.
Simply listen.

If you feel the impulse to write, write.
If you feel the impulse to rest, rest.
If nothing happens, trust that something is integrating.

The only intention is availability...
to pleasure, to possibility, to the feminine wisdom moving beneath the surface.

When you rise, don’t rush to define what’s next.
Let the portal work on you.
